We can find basics fundamentals of the Railway System, as well as characteristics of raw materials, parameters for the platform behavior, interaction with rolling stock, failures, frequent solutions, improvements, and countless number of triggers and relevant information.

The state of the art is complemented with papers, presentations, conferences and consultations. This information is more recent and can generally be found in publications from universities, research centers, symposiums and conferences. Notwithstanding, the act of taking the book in your hand, opening it and turning the pages, exploring topics and sections, undoubtedly represent the starting point of any development process.
